Eric Dyck’s Slough Chew Revue: Namaste Nepali Restaurant

I visited Namaste with one of Lethbridge’s Dr. Jay Gamble. Namaste is a pretty special place, though its low-key hole-in-the-wall atmosphere might make it easier to figure out if you go with someone in the know. Like me!

Eric Dyck’s Slough Chew Revue aren’t restaurant “reviews”: I’m not really interested in spending hours drawing a food experience that I didn’t enjoy! These comics are not requested by the restaurants, and I am not compensated by these establishments. I know this is a bit of a strange set-up, but I like it for a few reasons:

  1. I have the freedom to choose where I want to go.
  2. I’m going to be featuring restaurants that I think are special, and venues that fit my own biased and flawed view of what an independent local company is.
  3. I am free to focus on restaurants that I think have the potential for being a real gem in this city, but are at risk of an early demise because their size, family-run business model or various other Lethbridge-y factors (racism, there I said it).
